Operational Trade/CMI Intern - 1 year contract

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate.
We’re looking for a beauty-passionate OTM Intern to join the Canadian team. This role offers meaningful “hands on” work experience in a highly dynamic environment. Trade Marketing is a strategic pillar of the organization that acts as a 2-way stream of information: flowing the brand information to Sales teams, and flowing the customer and local information to Marketing teams.
This role reports to the Team Lead of Prestige Operational Trade Marketing & CMI and works directly with multiple teams within the organization such as: Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance and Supply Chain.

Detailed oriented and manages complexity
Ability to gather and analyze data, and develop fact-based recommendations that are a result of the analysis.
Strong time management & prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to think outside of the box and be confident to bring new ideas to table.
Keen eye and creative ability.
Knowledge of changing beauty landscape and industry trends Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Sales)
1-3 years of & Sales experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding sales skills and potential
Passion for beauty industry
Solid financial and business acumen required
Proficiency with PC applications MS Excel & PowerPoint

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

In this role you will be exposed to wide range of sales and marketing activities and cross- functional teams. You will primarily be responsible for:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Helping with Retail and distribution plans by channel and by customer
Ownership of changes to plans and rolling up for National/Account reporting
Support on New product launches and key documents
Development of category & trade strategies with cross-functional teams
End-to-end ownership of promotional program planning & execution
Monitoring and analysis of competitive trade activities & pricing
Day-to-day coordination to support seamless execution of strategies
Analysis of internal POS data and Circana data to evaluate performance
Helping with Circana monthly data reporting on POS results
