OPERATIONAL, ASSET, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

As part of our MRO Operations team the Operations Asset, HSE & Facilities Manager will work with industry leaders in aerospace engineering. You’ll get to work with a great team on interesting and sustainable projects. With investment being made on site it’s an exciting time to join our growing local team.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for compliance to UK Legislation and SAFRAN Group Standards. Ensuring the Health and Safety of those working on site and managing Environmental Risk associated to onsite processing activities.
  • Facilities & Maintenance (F&M) Responsible for maintaining the Buildings, Grounds, Infrastructure and Plant & Equipment therein. Providing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs and ad hoc breakdown support.
  • Project Management Responsible for the delivery of Capital projects improving the sites manufacturing efficiency and capability. Whilst simultaneously ensuring:
  • Carbon & Energy Management (Reduction)
  • Coach/mentor 2 Supervisors & 2 site project engineers
  • Focal responsibility for SAFRAN reporting, audits & compliance to group guidelines

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE?

  • Management experience in a similar or related manufacturing environment
  • Change Management & Risk Management process
  • Working knowledge of ISO OHSAS 18001 & BSI ISO 14001 Management Systems
  • Experience of working in a lower tier COMAH facility
  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment, coupled with an understanding of integrated facilities and supplier management
  • Experience of project managing multiple projects, ability to read, interpret, and understand programs, drawings, schedules, and specifications
