OPERATIONAL ASSISTANT - KEY FUNCTION

We are looking for a high-performing Operational Assistant to support our wedding, events & accommodation business with the operational running of the business.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Previous experience demonstrating strong organisation skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate, present and influence effectively.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Full UK Driving License with access to own vehicle is a must.
• A real team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Bar knowledge and previous bar experience
  Job Type: Part time, 21 hours per week. Potential weekend work and additional hours available on business demand and growth.
  Hourly rate: £13 - £13.50 per hour

• Assist with venue setup and takedown for events and weddings, ensuring smooth transitions between bookings.
• Conduct spot checks on accommodation before guest arrivals to ensure all properties meet company standards and guest expectations.
• Manage damages and lost property, ensuring issues are recorded, resolved efficiently, and guests are informed when necessary.
• Provide holiday, sickness cover & busy time support for the housekeeping team, including turnaround of properties and hot tubs to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Carry out venue checks, including cleanliness, fire alarms, health & safety compliance, and reporting any damages.
• Assist management with staff rotas.
• Manage stock checks, ordering of materials and cost control to ensure efficiency and budget adherence.
• Manage stock levels, ordering and set up of Bachilton Bars when required and being responsible for the operational running of the in-house bar.
• Participate in weekend on-call shifts for Bachilton Farm Holiday emergencies, assisting onsite guests as required.
