ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of the Purchasing team, you’ll play a key role in sourcing and procuring high-quality materials, components and services to support our manufacturing operations worldwide, as well as indirect goods and services to support our corporate functions. We are looking for individuals with an eagerness to learn, adapt and make a meaningful impact.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE DAY TO DAY?

  • You’ll execute day-to-day purchasing operations for timely and cost-effective sourcing.
  • You’ll collaborate with internal teams to understand operational needs and optimise supply chains.
  • You’ll manage relationships with suppliers, enhancing collaboration, performance and value delivery alongside effectively negotiating pricing and terms for optimal outcomes.
  • You’ll develop and implement category strategies to achieve business goals.
  • You’ll collaborate across regions to leverage purchasing power and ensure consistency.
  • Driving cost effectiveness, quality improvements, and innovation within assigned categories will be key within this role
  • You’ll play a crucial role in supplier selection and negotiation activities for new product launches.
  • You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to align purchasing with innovation and play a key role in VA/VE activities.
