These are your responsibilities:

- Procuring assemblies and drawing parts

- Handling planning tasks

- Checking and coordinating requirements

- Monitoring and tracking delivery dates and deadlines

- Ensuring material availability

- Obtaining quotes and maintaining material master data

- Responsible for complaint management, quality assurance, and inventory management

- Handling supply disruptions

- Supporting strategic purchasing in the further development of material and supplier management

- Participating in value analyses.

These are the skills and qualities you bring:

- Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training in purchasing or a comparable field

- Several years of professional experience as an operational buyer (m/f/d), preferably in mechanical engineering

- Good technical understanding

- Good written and spoken English skills

- Proficient in MS Office, ideally with SAP experience in the MM module

- Analytical, holistic, and solution-oriented thinking

- Independent and structured work style as well as a high degree of responsibility
