Southwest Electric is looking for an Operational Buyer: Execute day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure on-time material availability for production Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Monitor supplier confirmations, delivery dates, and proactively resolve delays or shortages Coordinate invoice verification and resolve price or quantity discrepancies Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data to ensure high ERP data quality Support supplier performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement, or business 1–5 years of experience in operational purchasing or supply chain operations (level-dependent) Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and structured working style Clear communication skills for cross-functional and supplier coordination Ability to work in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment Southwest Electric Co is motivated by our mission to provide a stable and sustainable energy supply for our customers around the world.
