ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a confident, polite and courteous telephone manner, whilst also having the ability in dealing with the public politely and sensitively
  • Must have previous Call Handler, Administration & Operational Support Experience
  • Desirable to have geographical knowledge of UK
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems, and be proficient in various IT packages, including Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience in working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Organised and ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
  • Must be self motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be respectful to other colleagues
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As an Operational Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering first class, professional operational support to our business and providing excellent customer service to our clients and members of the public..
The role will demand a degree of flexibility by the post holder in order to deal with various tasks simultaneously, accurately and within reasonable timescales in order to meet business needs. A high level of clerical and administrative support with all also required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities (This list is non exhaustive and other areas of responsibility may be included)

  • Taking ownership of outbound and inbound queries & escalating them as necessary
  • Point of contact for today communication from clients to process requests.
  • Call client stores as and when required
  • Schedule engineer / driver routes
  • Answer Trolley helpline calls from our clients & members of the public
  • Create & analyse reports and manage all relevant spreadsheets
  • Managing all inbox requests and creating jobs on the system where necessary for deliveries, collections, Depot repairs, and PPM’s & repairs
  • Help book staff accommodation when required
  • Opening & distributing mail
  • Liaising with staff across all levels of management
  • Reception duties, greeting & directing visitors & making refreshments
  • Conducting additional ad hoc duties as may be required in meeting business
  • needs, relative to the purpose of the role and needs of the customer
  • To comply with all Health & Safety requirements applicable to the role
