Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a Operational Excellence Manager (m/f/d) for our warehouse operations. You will take full ownership of analyzing and optimizing our internal logistics processes. You will walk the floor to observe workflows, gather data, and question the status quo of how things are done. Using Lean management principles and a data-driven approach, you will identify inefficiencies or waste in every step – from inbound returns processing, quality inspection, storage, through to order fulfillment for resale. You will define clear KPIs and baseline measurements for process performance, develop improvement initiatives, and drive their implementation across teams. This role is highly autonomous – you will be our in-house expert for process optimization, working closely with all departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and set performance baselines.
  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma projects (e.g., 5S, Kanban, layout changes, automation).
  • Collect and analyze data; create and track KPIs.
  • Implement solutions and update SOPs.
  • Train and support staff during process changes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather insights and feedback.
