Description
Objectives of the function
Taking responsibility for the sustainable improvement of processes, efficiency, quality and performance along the entire value chain in the plant
Driving forward Lean and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) measures as well as cost reduction measures within the framework of the professional management responsibility of those responsible in the project.
Supporting managers and teams in implementing an excellent production organization
Your tasks
Supporting general management in achieving organizational and business objectives through the introduction, development, and monitoring of efficient systems and processes.
Analysis, optimization and standardization of core processes along the value chain based on KPIs
Development of measures to improve operational processes and workflows in close cooperation with other departments and managers.
Active promotion of operational excellence through the application and further development of Lean and Six Sigma methods and analysis tools, such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa diagrams.
Initiation, management and implementation of cross-departmental and cross-production continuous improvement (CIP) and organizational development (OD) projects to increase productivity, transparency and efficiency.
Establishment of shop floor, performance management, best practice and lessons learned structures
Participation in new projects (PEP) as well as co-design of manufacturing concepts and process layouts.
Coaching and training of managers and employees, as well as ensuring the sustainable effectiveness of improvement measures.
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the small Operational Excellence team
Taking over the professional leadership of project teams for the implementation of CIP projects
Your profile
Completed engineering degree with good technical and business acumen.
Six Sigma Black Belt, Toyota Production System or similar training is desirable.
At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of Operational Excellence, Lean Management or process optimization in a manufacturing company in the automotive supplier industry (ideally injection molding)
Very good knowledge of Lean and CIP methods
Experience in project management and change management
Analytical, structured and results-oriented working style
Excellent communication and moderation skills
Confident demeanor on the shop floor and management level
