Operational Oversight Analyst Location: Bristol (hybrid) In this position, you’ll be based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. As an Operational Oversight Analyst, there will be an opportunity to continually learn and develop your skillset, have greater exposure to the wider Computershare business and you will be part of a friendly, supportive and engaging team.  A role you will love The Operational Oversight Team have oversight of all regulated activities across Computershare Investor Services (CIS).  The team’s main objective is to ensure that the firm has an adequate control framework in place to meet its Conduct Risk & Client Assets and Money (CASS) obligations. This includes managing any regulatory breaches that may arise and undertaking monitoring of key internal controls and processes within the various business areas within CIS. As an Operational Oversight Analyst, you will also be collating documentation required by external auditors as well as gathering evidence for internal stakeholders which will really utilise your organisational and communication skills. Other ad hoc tasks, for example the provision of training and workshops to relevant business areas may also be required.  In this role, you will be responsible for: * Completion and analysis of any regulatory breaches to ensure accurate and relevant information has been captured, including root cause, preventative steps and consideration given to any wider impacts to CIS. * Conduct CASS and Conduct Governance Reviews across the business to identify risk and improvements to controls that are required. * Co-ordinate with the business to ensure the closure of actions arising from first line governance reviews. * Review the firm’s market abuse alerts in line with Markey Abuse Regulation (MAR) and help to ensure the firm’s sanctions screening is completed.  What will you bring to the role? As an Operational Oversight Analyst, you will need strong verbal and communication skills, can work in a team environment, and be self-motivated and driven to succeed. Another key requirement of the role is to understand UK Regulations and key aspects of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Handbook. This role plays an important part in being the first line of defence with its governance protocols so your passion for accuracy and processes will assist the department with its ongoing business objectives.
