Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Initiatives team at Mercer, a Marsh business, as a Operational Partnerships Manager working in our Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Operational Partnerships Manager We will count on you to: Collaborate closely with the Global Service Delivery (GSD) team to ensure service delivery aligns with contracted SLAs and quality standards, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement. Oversee GSD performance operational controls and risk management in partnership with the First Line Risk team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Foster strong stakeholder engagement across Administration Operations and GSD teams, promoting a One Team approach and effective communication. Manage operational interactions with external suppliers, including vendor risk assessment, invoice reconciliation, and ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations. Lead contract review and vendor negotiations, ensuring all agreements comply with Marsh policies and support operational and governance standards. What you need to have: Tertiary education in a business-related field (preferred). Proven experience in operational oversight and vendor/partnership management. Strong knowledge of contract management and service delivery against SLAs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to design and assess operational controls and manage risks. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work proactively in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment. What makes you stand out: Experience influencing behaviour and driving outcomes through collaboration. Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions and achieve consensus. Previous experience working within financial services or wealth management operations.
