POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operational Procurement Analyst is responsible for the daily processing of purchasing orders with a strong focus on the use of the correct purchase to pay (PTP) processes.
He/she uses his/her technical expertise of the various PTP systems and tools and continuously look at the current processes with the intention of optimizing them and thus allowing the team to function as efficiently as possible.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and optimize purchase orders in line with PTP processes, including communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ensure vendor optimization by selecting the right suppliers, negotiating conditions, and following the correct procurement flow
  • Contribute to purchasing targets by tracking savings, cost avoidance, and improvements in payment terms
  • Identify and implement improvements in PTP processes and support procurement-related projects when needed
