Mō te tūranga | About the Role We’re looking for an Operational Risk & Compliance Change Manager to provide high-quality risk advisory and assurance services across the Product, Sustainability and Marketing (PSM) division. As a trusted advisor, you’ll enable and mature PSM’s management of risks within appetite while operationalising Westpac New Zealand’s risk management strategy. Your expertise will support risk assessments that enable informed, risk-based decisions, including ad-hoc advisory, risk profiling, control assurance, and risk-in-change activities. You’ll also contribute to improving and embedding our Compliance and Conduct Frameworks, maintaining the business compliance plan, preparing reporting packs, and spotting trends, emerging risks, or regulatory changes that may impact business objectives. You’ll provide practical support and coaching opportunities to uplift risk knowledge and maturity within PSM. Collaboration and relationship-building are key – you'll collaborate widely across the business and within the broader risk and compliance community to create a supportive, engaged, and forward thinking culture.
