WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

We’re looking for a Operational Risk Manager to join our growing Risk Management team.
As part of the Operational Risk and Resilience team, the role holder is accountable for establishing, maintaining and managing a reporting framework to support the monitoring and management of operational assurance activity for TransUnion UK and Europe, ensuring a high-quality, consistent approach to Risk and Control Management is applied across the business.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with, build relationships and manage a variety of technical and non-technical business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven people management skills, with experience of managing remote teams and developing individuals.
  • Competency in planning and conducting different types of risk reviews (e.g., sampling, deep-dives, ISO 9001 reviews)
  • Ability to articulate a business issue without resorting to technical language.
  • Initiative to propose solutions and to act independently with the confidence to effectively challenge the status quo.
  • Highly developed ability to analyse and present data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
  • Organisation and time management, specifically working to deadlines with multiple deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability present findings effectively.
  • Ability to adapt approach in response to changing priorities or new information.
  • Risk and quality management within a regulated business, preferably within financial services sector.
  • Process improvement through effective risk and control monitoring
  • Managing and maintaining an ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System
  • Working with Microsoft Office applications
  • Educated to degree level or otherwise suitable experience.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Understanding of Credit Reference Agency data (desirable)
  • Design and implementation of control dashboards and reporting (desirable)
