Description
Partner and support Business Activity Owners in their oversight of internal and external third-party suppliers. This includes serving as the third-party risk expert, providing support, governance and challenge on oversight and control execution activities to ensure compliance with Third Party Program policies and procedures. Manages suppliers by analyzing supplier information and data for various due diligence tests as required by Third Party program requirements and internal Third-Party Risk Management procedures. Reviews, assesses, and acts on results of Third Party Management (TPM) assessments/controls (e.g., IS, COB, Data Privacy, Export, Credit Risk, Country Risk, Financial Evaluations). Partners with TPM, as necessary, to review and respond to the results of third-party risk management activities. Engages with suppliers and internal businesses to monitor and report supplier complaints, escalations, and issues (e.g., negative media reports, supplier complaint logs). Collaborates with the Issues Management team during the implementation, follow-up, and closure processes for third party-related Issue Management/iCAPs. Supports the production and maintenance of supplier scorecards and performance monitoring, including validation of source data, distribution and reporting. Maintains supplier systems of record (e.g., ARAVO, CASP+, TPORT) and other supplier databases or tools, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete input of supplier information. Supports audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers by supporting coordinating activities specific to third-party risk. Ensures project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities related to third-party risk management as required. Able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment and autonomy. 5-8 years relevant experience in Compliance, Risk and Control, supplier/third party management, or project management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to senior audiences. Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating across diverse groups. Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification, specifically within third-party relationships. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to articulate complex and sensitive third-party issues to management, Business Activity Owners, Suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and present a compelling case to influence others. Ability to identify and influence improvements in department and global policies and procedures related to third-party risk. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products critical to the role. Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
