BACKGROUND:

James McGowan Engineering Limited are designers and manufacturers of materials handling equipment based in Cambuslang, Glasgow. Due to growth in the company’s business, we currently have a vacancy for an Operational Support Administrator to assist with the day-to-day operations of the business.

In performing this role, you will undertake the following:

• Engage with customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Control of goods in / goods out and transport processes.
• Take and process customer part enquiries.
• Procurement of material & stock items to support production & everyday requirements of the Workshop.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain.
• Role may require occasional use of a counterbalance fork lift truck, experience not essential as formal training would be provided.
