We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and detail oriented Operational Services Officer to join our team based in Eastern Creek, NSW. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Asphalt & Products operational line of businesses, including financial processing, accounts payable activities, contracts administration, inventory and manufacturing documentation and other project support. You will ensure timely, accurate data entry and help maintain compliance with Downer’s policies and procedures. KEY TASKS * Manage end-to-end administrative and financial processes including, billing and invoicing, payment for supplier and subcontractors, purchase orders and accounts payable/receivable, job costing and month-end activities. * Provide contracts administration support and maintain accurate documentation. * Coordinate travel, onboarding/offboarding, meetings and general office operations. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and audit requirements. * Partner with operational teams and finance to deliver accurate and time outcomes. * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients.   ABOUT YOU * A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration role, ideally Finance Administration. * Experience with a large Enterprise Resource Planning software such as SAP or JDE preferred. * Proficient in core administrative competencies including spreadsheeting and document writing/formatting (intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 applications). * High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Thoroughness in completing tasks and following up as required. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships at all levels. * Self-motivated, proactive and committed to continuous learning and development.   Downer is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
