Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and controlling operational technology across all shop-floor processes (Sheet metal cold working (Uncoiling & Levelling, Roll forming, Bending, Punching, Shearing). Structural Tubes and Profiles cold working (Section bending, cold Saw cutting, drilling). Arc Welding, Submerged Arc Welding, Oxyfuel Cutting, Plasma Cutting, Laser Welding, Tig Welding). Ensures validated process parameters are consistently applied, documented, and improved to maximize quality, efficiency, and equipment utilization. Acts as the knowledge hub between design, operations, and maintenance teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree/Diploma in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
· 5+ years’ experience in CNC/PLC-based manufacturing processes not the control systems (metal fabrication industry preferred).
· Strong knowledge of process parameters in at least two of the following: laser technology, welding technology, CNC cold forming, thermal cutting.
· Experience with CAD/CAM software, MES, and industrial controllers (PLC, CNC, IPCs).
· Familiarity with OT/IT integration and Industry 4.0 concepts is a plus.
· Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • CNC/PLC-based manufacturing processes : 5 years (Preferred)
  • process parameters of laser, welding, CNC cold forming: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CAD/CAM software, MES, and industrial Controllers: 5 years (Preferred)
Responsibilities

· Develop, validate, and maintain standard parameter libraries for all critical shop-floor processes (laser cutting, CNC bending, arc welding, etc.).
· Manage the digital knowledge base of process parameters with version control, traceability, and structured approval.
· Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to optimize quality, throughput, and reliability.
· Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and production engineering to capture and formalize tribal knowledge.
· Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance teams on correct parameter usage.
· Integrate parameter management into CAD/CAM, MES, and CNC/PLC systems.
· Participate in continuous improvement projects (Such as OEE optimization).
· Support troubleshooting of parameter-related quality or performance issues.
· Act as the guardian of process integrity, ensuring parameters align with engineering standards and customer requirements.
