Description
As an Operational Account Manager, you play a critical role in aligning customer requirements and expectations with DP World’s capability as well as safeguarding a healthy commercial operation. You will be developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with the assigned customer accounts at all levels in their organization. Additionally, you will closely partner with regional commercial and operational teams with whom the commercial activities in the assigned region will be planned and coordinated. Your Responsibilities: Be the main contact for customers to resolve all commercial issues related to operational and administrative non-compliance matters in escalations on site levels Ensure the efficient flows in Contract Logistics facilities by implementing and follow up of KPI charts and business performance reports Support the Implementation teams to handle any new business within the account portfolios Configure the reporting process of goals to customers in cooperation with the Customer Solutions teams and the Senior Account Manager Perform root cause analysis of metrics below minimum requirements with local and regional operational and commercial management teams and follow-up internally and with the customer Prepare QBR materials and data and attend local and regional Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings Maintain and negotiate tariffs, rate requests considering the matrix of authority Ensure timely order releases from customers and prepare the invoicing Evaluate and/or negotiate changes in scope with the customer. Skills and Experiences: Degree in Business Administration, Business Development, Logistics or equivalent A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the Contract Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry with focus on the automotive industry vertical Significant commercial/sales experience within Automotive OEMs and a proven track record of having consistently achieved on sales quota at relevant scales A proven track record in building and maintaining excellent customer relationships Familiarity with exposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of professional integrity Fluency in German or Czech is mandatory Compensation DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
