Job Description: Operations Admin (6 Month Contract)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Position Overview: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator is responsible to provide administrative support for the operations department.

DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform general clerical work such as filing, updating logs and maintain inventory reports
  • Perform data entry
  • Ensures that all goods listed on the issuing forms and other documentation is accurately removed for the storeroom inventory on the SAPMM system daily
  • Spot checks and compares on hand quantities with data in the system and reports and anomalies to the Storeroom Supervisor
  • Ensures effective communication with various department processes in order to implement improvements
  • Ensure all documents pertaining to Customs documentation is submitted in a timely manner, following protocols and regulations
  • Responsible to prepare airline reports
  • Requires cross training to be able to fill in for Goods Receipt, Purchase requisitions etc
  • Complete security checks and ensure the checklist is updated on a daily basis
  • Assist supervisor/manager in troubleshooting any discrepancies
  • Timekeeping duties and updating employee schedules
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year admin experience
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge of SAP MM module
  • Ability to work in high volume of food products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Food and Food Safety
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills, and comfortable working with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to implement and manage processes
  • Familiar with inventory management systems
  • Flexible working hours and be available to work on Weekends, Statutory Holidays, as needed, 1st and last day of the month, as needed, and provide vacation coverage, as needed
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 6 months
    Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
