Description:
SUMMARY
As part of efforts to support continued growth of Bevo’s industry leading agricultural business, we are searching for an Operations Administrator to provide key back-end support to various operational functions within the company. This role includes a diverse array of responsibility involving general administrative, clerical, and communicative support across departments. Duties may include general support to sales, accounting, shipping and receiving, planning, and ERP-related governance.
The ideal candidate for this role is adaptive and flexible and enjoys a fast-paced environment where daily routines can change quickly based on seasonality and current requirements. Working under the Information Management Lead, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and will leverage your experience in office administration to help ensure daily goals are achieved.
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in administration considered a strong asset
- Proficient in Office 365 applications
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
SECONDARY SKILLS
- Experience in an administrative assistant role
- Experience in a shipping and receiving department
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, disseminating, and logging of work orders
- Attending key department meetings, generating and distributing meeting minutes
- Support daily floor planning
- Data entry tasks
- Clerical and administrative support to all departments within a scope to be determined
- Contribute to population and accuracy of data within company ERP software
- Assist with biological and hardgoods inventory counts
