ABOUT YOU

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a desire to provide a high standard of customer service to join our growing team.
The Operations Executive role is shift based and will include working evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rota basis, so flexibility is paramount. You must be able to work shifts and commute to the office at times when public transport is not always available.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge and experience of the airport environment and travel is desirable.
  • A desire to provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Able to prioritise workloads and the ability to work under pressure in an ever changing, fast paced environment.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • A flexible and self-motivated approach with the ability to problem solve and to use their own judgement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a natural rapport with people and the ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and computer skills are essential, including Outlook, Word & Excel.

  • Have a legal right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work shifts including early starts and late finish times, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

Based in our busy Operations Service Centre in Wythenshawe, and working on a shift basis our Operations Executives are the people who put the pieces of the puzzle together.
No two days are the same, one minute you could be dealing with a booking for a celebrity and the next an around the world itinerary for a band.
As the first point of contact, you will be required to present a cheerful and professional persona to clients from all over the world who wish to make a reservation for our global airport meet and assist services.
Working as part of a small team you will handle enquiries from our clients via email and telephone. This will include issuing quotes, answering questions and relaying service information.
Once a client makes a reservation request you will make the reservation with our global airport handling partners, issue invoices and prepare confirmations and manage all aspects of the booking until its conclusion..
Using our inhouse reservations system you will monitor confirmed reservations to ensure all flight, greeter and transport information is up to date.
Due to the nature of the business, you will need to react to and action operational changes / disruption in a calm and systematic manner.
This is a full time office based role, working the equivalate of 37.5 hours a week on a rotating and varied shift pattern to cover our opening hours. This will include working early mornings and in the evening. The earliest shift start time is 08:00 and the latest shift finish time is 20:00. This role will include some weekend and Bank Holiday work with a mix of office and lone home working in line with our operational requirements.
