JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a unique sales support position that also involves operational duties. This position is an entry-level, full-time, onsite position reporting to the Operations Manager for Gambles Ontario Produce located in Calgary at 110 – 5675 58 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta. The intended shift for the position is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 9am – 5pm.This role requires a flexible working schedule which is subject to change based on the needs of the business.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience working in a warehouse operations or related role.
  • Strong English communication skills are a must (written and verbal).
  • Ability to lift to 40lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Experience in roles requiring high attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to changing priorities and environments.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Process Customer credits & allocations via internal systems.
  • Manage and audit inventory daily, communicate any quality concerns to the QC lead for disposition.
  • Prepare Purchase Orders, Invoices & Driver Manifests as needed.
  • Operational clerical duties including but not limited to entering customer orders, creating and auditing transfer loads, internal product disposition credits, customer follow up on invoice reprints and POD’s as needed.
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service by investigating and resolving all customer inquiries.
  • Communicate with buying team for customer product demand.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
