We are seeking a detail-oriented self-starter to join our team as the Operations Administrator. This position is based at our Central Bay Operations and Maintenance Facility in Alameda. This is a full-time, onsite position. To succeed in this role, the ideal person will be great at working cross-functionally with multiple departments and must have strong interpersonal and computer skills. Knowledge and experience in maritime and logistics is highly desired. Job Description Provide administrative and clerical support to the Operations and Engineering Departments to ensure the departments run at its maximum efficiency to achieve customer satisfaction and production. Manage and maintain scheduling for the Engineering and Vessel Crews. Input and maintain data used to process reports for Blue & Gold Fleet and WETA. Oversee WETA-related accounts payable and accounts receivable function. Compile and maintain data for ferry operations annual budget. Administer fuel ordering, verify & track fuel deliveries and maintain fuel records. Process payroll for Administration, Engineering and Operations Crew. Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies and consumables. Assist with ferry scheduling and planning. Assist Blue & Gold Fleet Dispatch as needed. Serve as backup to Dispatch for crew payroll processing. Track Jones Act and leave of absences for Vessel Crews. Administer service disruption protocol when necessary. Provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Prior experience as office manager or office administrator. Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps) Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to multitask and solid organizational skills are required. Rate: $29.00 /hour Additional Information Blue & Gold Fleet has been the premier provider of ferry and water excursion services on San Francisco Bay for over 40 years, offering the famous one-hour San Francisco Bay Cruise, the 90-minute Escape from the Rock Cruise around Alcatraz Island and a Sunset Cruise. The company provides regular ferry service to Sausalito and through its contract with the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) service to: Harbor Bay, Main Street Alameda, Oakland, Richmond, Seaplane Lagoon, South San Francisco, Vallejo, Oracle Park (for San Francisco Giants games and special events) and Chase Center (for Golden State Warriors games and special events).
