Operating a fleet of 25+ luxury Mercedes chauffeur driven vehicles, we aim to provide the highest level of professional service to our clients and guests.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supporting the Operations Manager and organisation on a daily basis, main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls and email enquiries from existing and potential customers in a professional and effective manner
  • Entering bookings into our reservations systems ensuring a high degree of accuracy
  • Data Entry/Update databases and spreadsheets with key information
  • Preparing, producing, and distributing reports from the booking system
  • Ensure excellent service towards clients, guests and other partners of the company and maintaining confidentiality
  • Possess a good knowledge of company products and services and have the ability to explain these to customers. This may include, preparing quotations, giving information about vehicles, local and nationwide tourist attractions and preparing potential tour itineraries
  • Liaising with corporate clients and tour operator partners on bookings and itineraries
  • Preparing and distributing tour documentation for drivers and assist the Operations Manager with driver scheduling
  • Communicating with drivers and manage changes/updates to corporate transfers and/or tour itineraries
  • Order office supplies and maintaining office and equipment
  • Supporting Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Willingness to evolve in the role and make positive contributions to the team and organisation

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Office/administrative experience essential - knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Previous experience operating in a hospitality / reservations / tourism role is a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in IT, including knowledge of MS Office packages and Google Drive
  • Ability to learn and adapt to using the latest technology, applications and software systems
  • Strong typing skills & excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Have super organisational skills & ability to manage tasks efficiently and independently
  • A people person with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with multiple team members and clients simultaneously
  • Professional in appearance with excellent customer service skills and standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a high paced environment
  • Previous experience in or knowledge of the Irish tourism market and tourist experiences an advantage but not essential
    This role is based on-site at our offices at Shannon Airport.
    Working hours: Monday - Friday, 10am-3pm with flexibility.
    €14-€16 per hour, dependant on experience
