Operations AdministratorLocation - Flitwick Office (Full-Time, On-Site)Reporting to - Operations ManagerHours - 09:00-17:30 (Monday-Friday)Salary Range - £24,800 - £26,000 DOE

ROLE PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITESThe operations team is essentially the processing hub of the shipping and administration function and plays a crucial role in monitoring inbound shipments, supporting the account managers, processing customer orders and delivering excellent customer service.

  • Monitoring the shared operations inbox and responding to customer queries and orders
  • Processing high volumes of orders for bulk, independent and dropship customers 
  • Using customer systems and portals to process orders 
  • Using in house systems to arrange bookings, process delivery notes and manifests
  • Liaising with couriers
  • Answering retail and end consumer enquiries over the telephone and via email 
  • Communicating internally important feedback from customers 
  • Working to deadlines on time crucial accounts
  • Liaising with the shipping team and advising customers of amendments to delivery dates
  • Updating inventory on SAP and customer portals
  • Liaising with the Operations Manager to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time
  • Completing new line forms (NLFs)
  • Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives

  • PREFERRED SKILLSPrevious experience in an administrative role
  • Experience of SAP B1
  • Experience of Microsoft programmes including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
