Description
We are currently looking for an Operations Analyst Intern to join our team in St. Louis, MO Responsibilities: Modern Technology Solutions, Inc (MTSI) is seeking an Operations Analyst intern, who will work with customers, study leads, model developers and software developers to create models and tool that will assist in Department of Defense analysis studies. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: · Assist the Study Lead in defining study questions to address their issues of concern and in translating customer study questions into analysis plans. · Develop model input data to replicate systems or concepts as analysis subjects. · Develop scripts within a mission level and engagement simulation to replicate platform behaviors and create observers for data collection. · Assist software developers who program and operate the model(s) to produce output. · Post-process this output into measures of merit and effectiveness to support the analysis plan objectives. Assist in interpretation of model results and develop presentations of findings and conclusions for the customer to help them in their decision-making processes. Creation of generalized tools that help model developers, study leads, and software developers execute analysis studies. Qualifications: · Actively enrolled in an accredited math, physics, engineering, or computer sciences undergraduate program. · GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Desired Skills: · Understanding of software languages: o Java, C#, C/C++, etc o Python o SysML/Cameo · Data post processing / Analytics · Demonstrated interest in understanding and improving military capabilities to better the defense of the US. Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience. · Basic proficiency with technical writing and Microsoft office tools. Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance. Please note: US Citizenship is required for this position.
Responsibilities
