Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain or 2 years in an analytical role
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Basic knowledge of transportation industry
  • Highly motivated and accountable
  • Very strong computer skills, Advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with Billing or Accounting processes a bonus
  • Experience with Tableau, SharePoint and Smartsheet a bonus
  • Previous experience using Workday is an asse

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with different functional departments (Logistics, Operations Planning, Customer Service, Supply Planning) to execute improvements in the overall operations.
  • Measure and monitor existing key processes for different customers with a heavy emphasis on current market trends, cost, profit & volume analysis and customer experience improvement.
  • Leverage data to develop custom analytics/reporting tools using business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
  • Conduct monthly analysis of P&L and investigate customer level performance according to volume, net revenue and margin trends.
  • Review logistics processes and procedures in order to maximize efficiencies and minimize costs
  • Work directly with dispatch, logistics coordinators and billing staff to collect and analyze data
  • Routinely monitor critical information to identify gaps, inconsistencies, trends and errors
  • Organize and maintain several internal and external databases to support decision making
  • Apply methods and tools to understand, predict or control operational processes and systems
  • Ensure clean and accurate reporting flows directly to leadership and upper management
  • Manage internal and external relationships to coordinate new & existing logistics initiatives and activities.
  • Create, maintain, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reduce costs and improve overall operations process.
