Description
Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, and data visualizations dashboards using advanced Excel and Tableau to track key performance indicators, project statuses, and operational metrics. Presentation Development: Create high-quality, impactful presentations in PowerPoint for various stakeholders, including senior management, summarizing complex information, project progress, and analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Issue & Risk Support: Assist in documenting and tracking issue resolution and risk mitigation efforts by preparing data-driven reports and supporting materials for MRAs, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and Self-Identified Issues (SIIs). Project Support: Provide analytical support for projects by creating and managing project trackers, timelines, and status reports in Excel, and preparing periodic project updates and summaries for leadership review. Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the implementation of best practices by developing standardized reporting templates and processes, ensuring operational consistency across business units. Governance & Controls: Support the team in maintaining and reporting on established governance mechanisms and controls, utilizing data analysis and presentation tools to highlight adherence and identify areas for improvement. Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and data in Excel to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and optimization, presenting findings and recommendations to the team. Learning & Development: Actively participate in learning, development, and training opportunities, particularly those focused on enhancing analytical, data visualization, and presentation skills. Demonstrable financial services experience, including 1-3 years in the Banking or extended Financial Industry. Strong understanding of data management and reporting best practices. Familiarity with financial processes and policies is a plus. Proven experience in preparing clear, concise, and professional presentations for senior audiences. Awareness and adherence to a strong control environment. Advanced Microsoft Office Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., creating visually appealing slides, storyboarding, presentation design). Familiarity with Microsoft Word. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and translate complex information into actionable insights using tools like Tableau. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively with team members, and influence stakeholders. Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively with minimal supervision. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and presentation quality. BA/BSc in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
