WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the equity business for institutional clients across various markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling complex transactions from trade booking through to confirmation, pre-matching activities, and managing any fails that may occur. You will be expected to analyse transaction data meticulously, escalate risks appropriately, and communicate clearly with both internal teams and external clients. • Conduct pre-match activities by reconciling trade data and resolving discrepancies before settlement deadlines are reached.
  • Monitor fails closely, investigating root causes and collaborating with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyse large volumes of data related to client transactions, identifying trends or issues that require escalation or further investigation.
  • Escalate potential risks or unusual activity swiftly to management or compliance teams, maintaining robust risk controls at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across London-based and Central European client groups to provide exceptional client service.
  • Support ongoing process improvements by sharing insights gained from daily operations with your team members.
