Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an Operations Analyst based in Glasgow, you will play a pivotal role within the Operations Risk & Regulatory Control Disclosure of Interest team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre on ensuring the accurate monitoring and submission of shareholder disclosure obligations across numerous jurisdictions. You will immerse yourself in learning complex regulatory requirements while developing expertise in firm systems and processes that safeguard compliance. By collaborating with colleagues from legal, compliance, operations, and technology departments worldwide, you will help maintain rigorous standards in regulatory reporting. Your ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure will be essential as you contribute to process enhancements and participate in projects designed to strengthen operational controls.   • Monitor exceptions across approximately 30 EMEA jurisdictions to identify potential disclosure obligations and ensure timely regulatory filings.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of rules, regulations, firm systems, and data sources relevant to Disclosure of Interest (DOI) functions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal legal, compliance contacts, operations colleagues, and technology support teams to facilitate accurate regulatory submissions.
  • Work diligently to meet tight daily deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy in all reporting activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and implementing best practices within the team.
  • Participate actively in projects aimed at enabling new business initiatives or enhancing the existing control framework.
  • Build detailed knowledge of security transactions and various product types to support effective monitoring and reporting.
  • Take ownership of multiple deliverables simultaneously, coordinating efforts across different functions as required.
  • Utilise advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, to analyse data and prepare reports for internal management use.
  • Support the ongoing development of robust internal controls by assisting with business process reviews and management reporting.
