Job Description: Job description (heading) The Business Analytics Partner will be responsible for enabling business excellence across the operations function by defining a best-in-class suite of reports and enabling data-led insights. Key stakeholders will be Asia COO, Asia CIO, Asia markets and their regional teams. The role will anchor metrics & KPIs definitions & standardization, design insightful management reports, lead ad-hoc data deep-dive and analysis and provide recommendations to leaders to drive the change to data-driven business excellence. Additionally, the role will support local business units with managing the change and tracking value with data and advanced analytics leveraging access to quality data from the regional data platforms and initiatives. This is an individual contributor role and will be part of the Regional CoE Team. Preferred skills (heading) Very good life insurance knowledge & (preferred) prior experience of performance management Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into compelling insights Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices for metrics design Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to think creativel Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and quantitative skills Ability to work in unstructured environments and bring together stakeholders across geographies with appreciation of working cultures across Asia Qualifications (heading) 12+ years of experience in Insurance industry or in consulting/service roles supporting Insurance industry Minimum of 5 years of reporting & analytics experience, with experience across operations in Insurance Experience supporting data warehousing initiatives and metrics standardization is highly desirable Bachelor's degree in statistics, actuarial, mathematics, data science or related field Experience of working in regional setup with multi-country teams is preferred Experience with customer segmentation, marketing attribution, and customer lifetime value analysis is a plus Familiarity with agile methodologies and usage of tools like Confluence, Jira & Miro would be a plus Responsibilities (heading) Collaborate with regional leaders (Operations, IT, Client & Marketing) to deeply understand their business priorities, challenges, and data/insight needs. Translate these into regular dashboards and data insights solutions that help them to performance manage their functions across Asia. Ensure quality, reliability, and governance of data used for reporting. Identify, evaluate, and integrate existing and new data sources that can offer enhanced insights into business performance and strategy across the operation functions. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to regional business leaders based on trends in the data. Highlight risks, opportunities, and actions that will drive improved business result. Support local BUs with best practices for metrics definition as part of our data foundations initiatives (data lake house, client deduplication, golden record & data quality) , ensuring consistency and alignment with regional standards while respecting local market needs.
