Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly capable Operations & Commercial Project Manager to lead and deliver critical new product development (NPD) projects while building strong, collaborative partnerships with high-value third parties, some of which are international.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring successful product launches, managing complex commercial arrangements with contract manufacturers, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver against The a2 Milk Company’s ambitious growth plans. You will balance operational execution with commercial acumen, acting as a key link between our business, suppliers, and partners across FMCG and dairy supply chains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the execution of NPD projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage and develop strategic third-party manufacturing and supplier relationships, including international partners.
  • Negotiate, oversee, and monitor commercial arrangements to deliver value and minimise risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
  • Provide clear stakeholder communication on project status, risks, and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational and commercial processes.
