JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our location and community initiatives. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively whilst fully building and integrating the members community. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting fundraising efforts, supervising teams, and managing various projects and events whilst also engaging with management and reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Operational Management:
· Expertise in managing day-to-day operations of FOUNDRY, including overseeing facilities, resources, and team management
· Ability to streamline processes and identify operational efficiencies to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
Customer Service Excellence:
· Strong focus on member satisfaction, responding to member needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with members, ensuring a positive community atmosphere.
Facility Management:
· Knowledge of maintaining physical spaces, including routine inspections, maintenance scheduling, and vendor management.
· Proficient in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
· Experience in leading and motivating a diverse team, including front-of-house staff, location assistance and hosts
· skills in recruitment, training, and performance management.
Project Management:
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including space configurations, event coordination, and facility upgrades / maintenance.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives and improvements.
Financial Management:
· Understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting for operational activities.
· Ability to track and optimise operating costs and ensure profitability.
Technology Proficiency:
· Familiarity with co-working space management software (e.g., office booking systems, CRM platforms, access control systems).
· Ability to adapt to new technology tools and improve operational workflows.
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:
· Strong decision-making skills to quickly resolve operational issues, member concerns, and unexpected challenges.
· Ability to handle conflict professionally, ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.
Event Management:
· Experience organising and hosting member events, networking sessions, and workshops to foster community engagement and create value for members.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
· Ability to collect and analyse data related to occupancy, member satisfaction, and operational performance to drive improvements.
· Proficient in preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership.
Communication Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, vendors, and senior management.
· Ability to communicate clearly under pressure and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
Adaptability & Flexibility:
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, handling changes in member demand and operational challenges with agility.
Time Management:
· Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain efficient operations across multiple areas of responsibility.
