SALARY: £27,000 – £32,000 DOE

Rubix M&E, the UK’s leading Mechanical and Electrical recruitment agency, is looking for a detail-driven and organised Operations and Finance Assistant (AAT Qualified) to join our growing team. This is a varied role where you’ll combine financial administration with operational support, helping to keep the business running smoothly while working closely with our recruitment consultants.

You’ll be responsible for a mix of finance and operations duties, including:

• Bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Managing credit control and ensuring HMRC compliance.
• Familiarity with Xero would be advantageous.
• Candidate onboarding — including document and qualification checks, DBS processing, and background screening.
• Supporting payroll processes.
• Working closely with the recruitment team to ensure smooth operations and accurate records.
