Specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry, Bizi Transport proudly offers Chemical, Molten Sulphur, Frac Sand, Nitrogen, Acid, and Cryogenic Freight Services to Western, Central, and Northern Canada.
We are seeking an experienced Operations and HR Administrator to join our team in Edmonton. This position will support both operational and human resources functions. The successful candidate will assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day activities and will provide direct support to the Human Resources team, located at Bizi Transport’s head office in Blackfalds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or related field. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum two years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with various online applications and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to speak an additional language, such as Punjabi, will be considered a major asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Reliable with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and Human Resources Department.
  • Coordinate onboarding for owner operators, including initial setup and ongoing compliance/maintenance.
  • Assist with onboarding company drivers, including app setup, online training, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate driver and contractor records, including training, certification, and renewals.
  • Support administrative tasks related to driver training and scheduling. Manage general office duties such as scheduling, filing, and general organization.
