ABOUT THE DATA TEAM

We believe every part of our organization should be empowered by data and able to use it in service of students, families, and staff. Our team partners with schools and regional teams to deliver timely insights and build user-friendly reporting tools, while also managing the data infrastructure that ensures accuracy and reliability. Our regional data strategy incorporates modern data tools and follows industry standards. Across our team we maintain a BigQuery data warehouse with data models built using dbt, custom Python automation, and Tableau reports and Google Suite tools built on top of our data infrastructure. We steward a data culture rooted in inquiry, continuous learning, and responsive support, helping the organization make better decisions and giving valuable time back to educators.
