About our group: The Operations and Strategy Management (OSM) team plays a pivotal role in guiding the integration of SAFe Agile and DevOps practices within the Global MES development teams, with a growing emphasis on AI/ML innovations. As key drivers of the ML Space initiative, the OSM team ensures that machine learning capabilities are seamlessly integrated into our manufacturing ecosystem, supporting our vision for smarter, data-driven operations. This team lays the foundation for service management processes and champions Agile methodologies as Release Train Engineers (RTE), embodying Agile principles and values throughout the organization. Beyond managing both on-premises and cloud-based development environments, the OSM team is proactive in adopting and leveraging new technologies, including DevOps CI/CD pipelines that are critical for deploying AI/ML models. Through these efforts, the OSM team aligns with our company's strategy for innovation and agility, enabling teams to deliver effectively within the shortest, sustainable lead times while driving the adoption of advanced AI/ML solutions.About the role - you will: Be part of a project that demonstrates the transformative impact of AI/ML at Seagate through the development of a dashboard for ML Space—a collaborative environment aimed at integrating machine learning across Seagate’s factory operations Play a key role in the technical development, working closely with experienced professionals in a team-oriented setting. This experience will deepen your understanding of digital portfolio strategy and expose you to real-world AI/ML use cases in manufacturing Assist in managing the development process from concept to deployment, helping align the project with our strategic vision for the dashboard Focus on creating interactive features that deliver valuable insights into our AI/ML-driven manufacturing systems, supporting decision-making across strategic, tactical, and operational horizons Strengthen your skills in building Tableau reports and developing SharePoint portals Enhance your data analysis abilities while gaining exposure to the latest advancements in manufacturing technology About you: Good communication skills and teamwork skills are essential as you will work closely with IT and AI/ML experts throughout the project A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies is crucial, especially as you engage with data visualization and integration tools A genuine interest in how AI/ML can transform manufacturing processes will be advantageous Your experience includes: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics or Software Engineering or equivalent. Must have a foundational understanding of web development, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proficiency in Tableau and an eye for basic design principles will be important for creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards Basic understanding and application of AI/ML in manufacturing Location: Our Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity, easily accessible via public transportation and offering ample free on-site parking.
