About the role

Contribute to the success of Business Operations to achieve high standards of customer service excellence. This varied role incorporates administration, purchase planning, coordinating inventory requirements, leading and performing item master data, data analysis & reporting, supporting operations team, and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing & Supplier Management
    • Coordinate the end-to-end purchasing process, including raising purchase orders, managing supplier communications, monitoring stock availability, resolving supply issues, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Inventory Planning & Stock Control
    • Support inventory planning by monitoring stock levels, assisting with demand forecasting, investigating stock discrepancies, reducing aged or obsolete inventory, and contributing to regular stocktakes.
  • Import & Logistics Coordination
    • Coordinate inbound shipments from overseas suppliers, including freight bookings, pricing verification, customs documentation, and logistics support for business, marketing, and event requirements.
  • Operational & Stakeholder Support
    • Provide responsive support to internal teams by managing stock enquiries, collaborating across departments, participating in supplier meetings, and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement
    • Prepare purchasing and inventory reports, analyse KPI and stock data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and provide administrative support to enhance procurement and supply chain performance.

 Skills & Experience Required

  • 2 - 3 years full-time experience working in similar roles (ideally within spare parts environment)
  • Technically minded with the capability & willingness to quickly become familiar with our products, their parts and functionality, as well as our services.
  • Inventory management, purchasing and supply planning experience.
  • Exposure to demand planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of SAP functional areas such as Procurement/ Sales order/ Finance/ Item Master Data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Full time work rights in Australia
