Warehouse Manager – Removals and Storage

Location: Somerton, Victoria

Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking an organised and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our removals and storage warehouse operations. The successful candidate will manage daily warehouse activities, coordinate storage jobs and conduct customer site inspections across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing storage jobs.
• Maintain accurate inventory and storage-location records.
• Ensure all customers’ items are correctly labelled, photographed and recorded.
• Plan Future Interstate jobs going from Melbourne to Sydney to Brisbane.
• Coordinate with drivers, and the operations team.
• Schedule loading, unloading, pickups and deliveries.
• Conduct residential and commercial site inspections.
• Take photographs and prepare clear inspection reports for the quoting and operations teams.
• Report damages, missing items or operational issues promptly.

Skills and Experience

• Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in removals, furniture transport, logistics or storage is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and people-management skills.
• Ability to plan jobs and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable conducting customer site visits and inspections.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Physically capable of assisting with warehouse activities when required.
