QUALIFICATIONS

  • You’ll spend approx 24 months working with Dunbia and an external training provider to achieve your level 5 qualification. The Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship is a nationally recognised, work-based qualification designed to develop the essential skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage teams and operational areas. It’s fully funded so there is no cost to you!

Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager Apprentice, you’ll embark on an exciting journey within our fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of operations, production, and business management, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and commercial awareness. Supported by dedicated mentors and bespoke management development, you’ll have the opportunity to fast-track your career and explore different areas of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report on production efficiency and line performance
  • Support the achievement of key operational KPIs
  • Assist in the primary carcass breakdown and yield analysis
  • Coordinate production planning with sales and assess costings for new and ongoing business
  • Ensure all customer requirements and quality standards are met
  • Accurately cost new products and support commercial decision-making
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement
