Operations Assistant
Location: ATEX Premier Cleaning Ltd, 4 Brookfield, Duncan Close, Moulton Park, Northampton
Salary: £24,000 per year (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (37.5 hours/week) 1/2 hour lunch

Role Overview
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in operations, administration, or customer service. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth internal processes, support client communications, and assist with basic marketing and scheduling tasks. The role is dynamic and will vary day-to-day based on operational demands and client requirements. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as priorities may shift in response to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in maintaining efficient workflows and reporting systems
  • Assist with administrative duties, including call handling, scheduling, and documentation
  • Help coordinate social media posts and promotional content with the marketing team
  • Maintain accurate records and follow internal procedures for service delivery
  • Liaise with clients and field teams to ensure timely updates and clear communication
  • Contribute to onboarding processes and support the induction of new staff
  • Assist with internal reporting, including daily logs, service records, and compliance checklists
  • Help coordinate equipment servicing, stock levels, and logistics for site visits
  • Support health & safety documentation and basic compliance tracking
  • Use internal systems to log calls, update job statuses, and track service delivery
  • Assist with supplier coordination and basic procurement tasks
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams on cross-functional admin tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Confident phone manner and professional email etiquette
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Organised, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Ability to follow structured processes and embrace training
  • Previous experience in admin or customer service is helpful but not essential
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
