Job Description: Job Title: Operations Assistant Position Summary: Magna Legal Services is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to join our company as an Operations Assistant. Our ideal candidate has a wide range of applicable skills, from strong computer proficiency with office productivity suites to attention to detail with data entry tasks. In this role, you may juggle multiple projects simultaneously, necessitating time management, multitasking, and organizational skills. The operations assistant is responsible for assisting the Case Manager in all operations workflows, as well as assisting the Billing Specialist with any invoicing support. This position reports directly to the Case Manager. This position is a hybrid role and will require approximately 3 days in our Houston, TX office per week. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and executing operational projects and projects involving cross-functional teams. Assist with intake of cases via email and phone. Assist with invoicing as needed. This position is a cross-trained position between the case management and accounts receivable sections. Developing strategies for enhancing business processes with the Case Manager. Communicating with investigators and clients Proofread reports and client facing materials Qualifications: Organization: Must have strong organizational skills and must be accustomed to fast paced environments which require multi-tasking. Verbal and written communication: The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is imperative. Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork is imperative. Daily activities require consistent contact between managers, investigators, and clients. All require an ability to effectively communicate as a member of a team. Compensation: USD $20.00 - $25.00 per hour An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
