Title: Operations Assistant Reports to:  Operations Manager Position Type:  Part-Time, 3 month contract (extendable) Hours:  Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (20 hours/week) Position Summary           The Operations Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to a site to Operations Managers and Supervisors, coordinating all aspects of daily operations including recording and reporting data.  Essential Responsibilities  * Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues. * Maintains and distributes department related information daily. * Communicate with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or dispatch issues. * Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager. * Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor. * Assists with the processing of invoices and other financial tasks as necessary. * Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed. * Backup to Operations Support Specialists as necessary. Creating, distributing, and closing out customer tickets. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Inventory and distribute tote delivery tickets daily.  * Supports supervisors with customer, driver and sales needs.  The statements used herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by an employee in this position and are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required.
