Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Associate
This is a critical (full time) team position reporting to the EMEA Operations Senior Manager, with a focus on Asset Based Lending (ABL) and Inventory Finance/ Channel Finance (IF/CF) Treasury functions. The role includes sweeps monitoring, client advance monitoring, forecasting, and funding. The role interfaces with frontline Commercial teams, external banks, and our local Operations Team based in London, UK. The Operations Associate will work as a key point of for the front line teams for queries relating to payments and sweeps.
The Operations Associate is seen as a subject matter expert and therefore will need to be able to perform all operational activities in ABL and treasury operations activities in IF/CF. The role is accountable for reviewing existing processes, seeking automation and simplification initiatives, leveraging Global Operations expertise available. The post-holder will be able to utilize available data & metrics to drive change/efficiency and be accountable to deliver with minimal supervision on small to medium projects, working to set timelines and ensuring appropriate progress reporting and escalation communication.
The Operations Associate will play a key role within the Operations function and be able to make key decisions (within their remit), resolve queries from the front line, build longstanding relationships, communicate and influence across the EMEA organization (Risk, Commercial, Controllership & IT) as well as being the key point of contact for audits and business process mapping activities.
