About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate I to join our dynamic Supply Chain Management Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of our daily logistics, office management, and cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Inventory Management: Manage daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure seamless material flow. Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain high inventory accuracy. Handle microbial-based products in compliance with biological packaging and handling standards. Sales Order Support: Utilize SAP ByDesign (ERP) to process sales orders, support sales team activities, and ensure the integrity of all system data. Office & Facility Management: Oversee office supply inventory, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate routine orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including the proper handling and storage of chemicals. Support facility management tasks as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide essential operational support across the organization, including assisting HR with new employee onboarding, supporting IT with technical setup, and aiding in company event planning. Embody a "can-do" attitude crucial to our startup culture. Additional Duties: Flexibly support evolving business needs by taking on other assigned tasks. Requirements Required Qualifications & Skills Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with proven data entry and organizational skills. Logistics Experience: Prior experience in logistics, including procurement, packaging, shipping, and/or receiving. Experience with microbial or biological products is a plus. Inventory Management: Demonstrated experience with inventory management systems and ERP software; proficiency in SAP ByDesign is highly desirable. Facility/Office Maintenance: Practical skills in performing area maintenance, with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and chemical safety protocols. Independence: A self-starter able to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and accountability. Compliance: A firm commitment to adhering to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative spirit. Must be adaptable, willing to take on diverse responsibilities, and thrive in the dynamic context of a mission-driven startup.
