OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
NRML Operations Associate role is a vital and key role to the NRML team, in order to keep the flow between all departments moving efficiently; our collective goal to provide an elevated client experience, building long lasting relationships and repeat customers.
An Operations Associate will find their daily tasks will range between eCommerce Order Fulfillment, Back of House organization, Shipment Logistics. Being an associate in the building, you may find yourself interacting with customers, so a high level of awareness and approach to customer service is an expectation.
Each day begins checking in with Logistics and Inventory Department Managers to be zoned for the day with specific tasks, plus starting and ending the shift thoroughly completing department checklists. As an Operations Associate, you are someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and organization.
Back of House:
- Security tagging product, backstocking product to standard according to item category. Eventually can lead to receiving product.
 - Maintains backstock organization of soft goods and footwear, by auditing bins and shoe stacks daily.
 - Bin resets and product recalibration - follows company calendar to ensure all product, sizes, and colours, display shoes are represented on the sales floor daily.
 - Health and Safety - ensuring all perimeters and emergency exits are clear at all times. Maintaining safe stacking of boxes and bins. Following daily checklist requirements to ensure exceptional H&S in shared spaces.
 - Supports bi yearly inventory counts
 - Aware of Weekly and Monthly store Audits, ensure they themselves and their team complete their daily checklist duties, and contribute to overall standards of our shared space. Plus follows mandated organization expectations.
 
Order fulfillment
- Picking customer orders in mandated priority, ensuring accuracy of product matching correct skus.
 - Maintaining a low count for partial orders, going above and beyond to find all items, while also maintaining organization in each moment, thinking ahead for future order fulfillment needs.
 - Packing orders to NRML standard, ensuring no damage to product. Elevating product standards when needed by steaming, lint removing, and repairing minor damage. Ensuring all security tags have been removed. Ensuring the correct items have been pulled comparing product skus to order sheet, plus ensuring the right quantities have been pulled. Ensuring orders are packed the most efficiently, to reduce shipping costs.
 
Logistics:
- Supports the flow of all incoming and outgoing shipments
 - Aware of vendors and categories, to direct shipments to the right areas (ie. 3rd floor, basement etc)
 - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, between four floors of a busy multi department building.
 
Customer Service:
- Manages in store order pick up, by bringing the correct orders to team leads on the sales floor when needed, in order to support customer service experience.
 - While picking orders from the sales floor, aware of all Sales Floor best practices, to help any customer who may approach.
 - Aware of phone etiquette, answering phone on the sales floor during peak hours, if in the vicinity.
 - Aware of greeter and product running expectations to support during peak times.
 - Aware of all Loss Prevention best practices, and reacting appropriately in the moment when applicable.

- Takes Initiative: Communicates supply needs to Logistics and Inventory Manager in the moment, to ensure no missed opportunities.
 - Support the team with reliability, punctuality, a great attitude, and team spirit.
 - Job development: an Operations Associate can find themselves developing a specific Division of Responsibility into the following areas as they showcase their best skills: (a) Shipper (b) Packer, ( c) product receiver and uploader (d) Customer service Associate.
 
Additional Requirements:
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service. Basic math skills are an asset.
Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
