As an Operations Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring daily and weekly booking capacity is effectively managed while delivering high-quality customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to, handling phone calls and customer enquiries, responding to emails, and accurately creating connotes for airway bookings, as well as creating and processing purchase orders. The role also involves maintaining transport documentation, verifying system charges, ensuring freight accuracy, and maintaining reports. Regular liaison with truck drivers and supervisors is required when manifesting freight and coordinating truck movements. You will be a highly organised individual, who thrives on working in an environment driven by deadlines. You will also enjoy working with a group of individuals and be motivated by the prospect of working within a team to achieve goals. You'll have - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience within the transport and logistics industry Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office, Excel and PowerPoint The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement A confident and proactive approach, supported by strong time management and organisational skills Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotational shift roster Why Qantas?
