Description
The Operations Control Consultant Senior will work with partners to provide consultation on business opportunities that result in improved operations controls and our results within the Policyholder Tax Operations area. The Policyholder Tax Operations team performs tax administration and support for annuity and life insurance products. As a Senior Operations Control Consultant, you will assess control needs, recommend controls, perform monitoring controls, monitor control performance, create and manage standard operating procedures for the department and provide risk management expertise and consulting related to the Policyholder Tax Operations function to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are upheld and business risks are controlled. You may partner with more senior consultants on large-scale risk-related projects. You will provide mentorship to less experienced consultants. You will report to the Senior Director Policyholder Tax. What you do: Analyze data gathered through intake work relating to compliance, legal, risk mitigation and controls (both financial and operational). Assess operations technology and processes and recommend business improvement opportunities aligned with trends identified in areas of compliance, controls and risk management. Present recommendations to partners, including senior leadership. Lead medium to large-scale projects within Enterprise Operations focused on mitigating risk by implementing business improvement solutions. Prepare and communicate to leaders (managers, directors, VPs) other team members related to control efforts and activities. Recommend and develop resources to implement/monitor control related activities. Develop educational resources to increase employee knowledge of the Enterprise Operations control environment, and related activities. Document and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for control monitoring. Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI). What you bring: 4 or more years experience required: relevant technical or business experience. Four-year degree required or equivalent work experience You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas. Job posting range $67,000 - $101,000 Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
