Our client is a well-established international manufacturing group, backed by private equity, with a strong footprint across Europe. The company is currently undergoing a dynamic growth and transformation phase, focusing on operational excellence, process optimization, and financial transparency at plant level. We are looking for an experienced Operations Controller to support the finance organization and local management team. The role combines hands-on controlling with strategic business partnering in a dynamic, growing international group, with a strong focus on operations and plant performance. Key Responsibilities: Act as a business partner for plant management, providing financial insights and supporting decision-making processes Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes at plant level Monitor and analyze plant performance (production costs, variances, KPIs) and propose corrective actions Ensure accurate standard costing, cost center setup, and product costing in SAP Oversee month-end closing activities related to plant controlling (cost allocations, settlements, variance analysis) Support liquidity planning and working capital management Identify and implement process improvements, with a focus on efficiency and automation Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and external regulations Collaborate closely with headquarters and other international stakeholders Requirements: Strong expertise in controlling (liquidity planning, budgeting, performance management) Solid experience as Operations Controller / Plant Controller in a manufacturing environment Advanced SAP proficiency (FI/CO), including standard costing, cost center accounting, and settlements Strong understanding of production processes and cost structures Excellent analytical skills and entrepreneurial mindset with solid business understanding Experience working with senior management and ideally private equity environments Strong focus on risk management, compliance, and transparency Excellent English language skills

Responsibilities

The Operations Controller will act as a financial business partner for plant management, driving budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes while monitoring and analyzing plant performance metrics.
